Not all carriers are the same as you will come to find out.  Introducing Mifab's improved MC-10 Fixture Carrier and MC-41 Lavatory Carrier.  In response to plumbers' feedback, Mifab has made modifications to help the plumber in the field, and the specification team during building design.

Whirlpool Corporation has a made a design change to all of their 24" built-in and tall tub dishwashers.  The solenoid valve connection is moving from an FIP to a standard male garden hose thread connection.  The water line connection will remain 3/8" compression.  This change affects Whirlpool along with its other brands such as Maytag, Amana, Kitchen Aid, and Jenn Air.

California Assembly Bill 1953 (AB1953) was signed into law September 30th, 2006 by State Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The intent was to reduce the amount of lead in specific plumbing fixtures from its current regulated amount of no more than 8%, to a new standard not to exceed 0.25%.

The bill takes effect January 1, 2010. Are You Prepared?
