Baxi Boilers Help Housing Authority Save 37%
July 30, 2009
Seattle Housing Authority has announced their affordable housing units, furnished with Baxi Luna combination heating and domenstic hot water boilers, are using 37% less fuel than houses in a similar Seattle housing redevelopment project using a different hydronic heating solution. An independent study shows the Housing Authority will enjoy continued fuel consumption and utility bill savings as utility rates increase. In addition, return on investment will continue to grow after deducting new conservation incentives offered by utility and government agencies. In keeping with the theme of conservation, the Housing Authority has also installed Baxi solar water heating with solar compatible Baxi Luna 3 Comfort combination boiler, which will further enhance energy savings.
