Great News!!

We were just advised this morning that the AXION launch video won a “Telly Award”!  This prestigious communications award is given annually honoring the very best in film and video production. We won a bronze award in the category “Best How-To” instructional film for our depiction of the proper use of inverted eyewash streams to irrigate injured eyes.

Haws has obtained Independent Test Lab verification that ALL of Haws Drinking Fountain products meet the new California  AB1953 “Lead-Free” requirements. 

Back in the late 1980’s, Haws did the right thing, and made the decision to go “Lead-Free” by making ALL of their Drinking Fountain products using a specially blended brass alloy that contained less than 0.0% Lead. 

For twenty years ALL of Haws Drinking Fountain products have always met the strictest possible interpretation of California’s new AB1953 “Lead-Free” Legislation!

On Apr 8th Kliman Sales will be hosting the ASPE SF Chapter dinner meeting at our San Jose location. The presentation for the evening will be a forum-style discussion of AB-1953, the lower-lead requirement for plumbing products delivering potable water going into effect January 1, 2010. California Assembly Bill 1953 (AB1953) was signed into law September 30th, 2006 by State Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The intent was to reduce the amount of lead in specific plumbing fixtures from its current regulated amount of no more than 8%, to a new standard not to exceed 0.25%.

The bill takes effect January 1, 2010. Are You Prepared?
